The Bloemfontein Division of CHOC is appealing for the following donations or sponsorships.

Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Short Term Projects / Basic Wish List Items

1. CHOC Care Bag Project ±R 150.00 each

Weekly these items are needed:

10x Colouring Books

10x Small pack of crayons

10x Small Soaps

10x Face Cloths

10x Small Toothpastes

10x Large Zip Lock-type Bags

10x Toothbrushes

10x Small tub of Vaseline or Body lotion

2. 2x Chocolate Treat Packets 500g (any brand).

±R 120.00 per month

3. 5x Plastic Scooters for CHOC House outside Play Area.

±R 350.00 each

4. Children’s pyjamas or clothes (±120 patients per annum, girls and boys all ages up to 16) ±R1 000.00 per month

5. Children’s Birthday or Christmas Gifts (±120 patients per annum, girls and boys all ages up to 16) ±R100 each

6. Children’s Birthday or Christmas Gift Wrapping

±R 50.00 per month

7. 20x big warm blankets

±R2 000.00 per annum

8. CHOC House Entrance Wall Upgrade Project. We need oil based exterior paints in any White, Black, Red, Blue, Yellow, Green and some Paintbrushes and Rollers. A group of CHOC FS Volunteers will be creatively painting the walls for all the children and their caregivers staying at the CHOC House Bloemfontein. The length of the wall is 37,6m.

9. The CHOC House Bloemfontein needs the following items on a weekly basis:

Meat – Chuck and or Brisket 15kg per month

50kg Maize per month

50kg Samp per month

25lt Juice Concentrate (any flavour) ±R400.00 per month

Any non-perishable grocery goods

Cleaning Materials (10lt Handy Andy; 10lt Dishwashing Liquid; 5lt Jik; 5lt Pine Gel; 96 rolls of Toilet paper; 10kg Washing Powder; 5lt Super 10) ±R500.00 per month

Bigger Projects / Sponsorship Projects

Any weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual sponsorships are welcome. These sponsorships are for 9 rooms in total which includes 1 patient and 1 caregiver at the CHOC House Bloemfontein.

1. Running Cost (Providing three meals a day at ±R20 per meal) ±R1 080.00 per day

2. CENTLEC – Electricity Account ±R4 000.00 per month

3. Mangaung Local Municipality – Water Account ±R1 000.00 per month

– Levy Account ±R 800.00 per month

4. Telkom – Telephone Account ±R2 000.00 per month

5. MultiChoice – MNET subscription fees ±R 300 per month

Long Term Projects

1. Toyota Venture (or similar vehicle) for transporting patients and their caregivers. ±R350 000.00
